One of the biggest draws for me to Human Design, beyond understanding my own chart, was that of my children. Not only does it help remind me of their individualization, but looking at their charts also helps provide insights into the ways I can support them in that process. It's not always a perfect science (still human after all) but I have loved learning more about my children through the lens of Human Design. My oldest has even become interested in learning about her design and will sometimes ask me to read some of her gifts to her before bed. Thanks for sharing your experiences!
That's so beautiful! Yes the gifts revealed in the nuance such as channels, gates and variable can be so illuminating. My daughter has the channel of the prodigal which is about being a story keeper, and she is so drawn to others' stories it is beautiful to see. She's also quad right variable which has been revelatory to see and understand so that we can support her correctly. You're so right also that it's not an exacting science - I have also likened it to prescription lenses that help you see clearer, but the ongoing work of deconditioning etc is still very much your own to work out. A brilliant article, thank you. I'm raising a manifesting generator and knowing a bit about her chart has helped me enormously. I think it's funny when people say there's no handbook for raising a child when there literally is one in human design.
